One of my purposes for playing music is to make the word a better place. I have always wanted to create music ever since I heard Cat Stevens and Beethoven and The Beatles and all kinds of amazing music when I was  growing up.

That was when I was about 12. After that I could never figure out what was it that made music sooooooooooo incredible. I’ve thought about that a lot as I took all the piano music and pursued  it.

Sometime later I heard a recorded production about the life of Beethoven and there was a bit about how Beethoven believed that he could change the world with music that made me cry.

That has always rung true to me. I like the idea of changing the world and I like the idea of changing the world with music. It’s been said that a song is more powerful than guns or bombs. I know it’s true the impact can be far greater.

Cool. So my purpose in creating music and this website is to put music out into the world and make it a better place.

As a secondary goal I love to inspire others to “artistify” themselves and go for it. The world needs more art! : )

Also I endeavor to demonstrate that one can and should  make a good living doing art. I like the idea of doing something that I love and that the world needs more of and making that work in life.

So that’s what I’m doing.
