It’s Phil again! As for your CD, I’m loving it. When I hear “Peaceman” song I can’t help but think about a very great man. It evokes in me the sense of great love. I put it up there with “Imagine”.

Then there’s “These Things are Love” which is simply powerful. The last artist I heard come across like that was the late Bob Marley . Excellent song. I especially like the lyrics ” No man is an island to himself. You better take your love, get it off the shelf.”

You got the combo down of songwriter, singer, musician. The next Elton John or better.

I’m listening to “10,000 Freeways” ( for the second time) as I’m writing this and am enjoying it even more the second time through.

My daughter Daisey, heard the music from the other room and excitedly ran over to listen and asked me to tell you, “he has a good voice”

You’re right – it puts me in the folk music section of my universe.

I have to say, I’m very very impressed with your CD. It’s really awesome. The first song “When Paula Cries” really moved me. I like the whole stripped down instrumentals. I’m really into that kind of music.

I really want you to know that I loved hearing you at Borders. I’ve always liked to hear you perform but I’d never seen you in that kind of setting before.

It wasn’t one of those “he’s really good for someone I know.” I mean, I want you to know that I thought you were GREAT. It brought me “up”. And you guys sounded perfect.

You sounded clean and it was very enjoyable.

I was blown away (by Marc’s CD). It is awesome! I thought I was listening to Elton John in the 70s (when he was really good).

I listened to the whole CD as soon as I got it and I loved it!! You remind me of two of my favorite artists, Michael Tomlinson and James Taylor. You really evoke moods and take the listener on a trip. Many trips. I like your use of heartfelt simple words that have various ramifications, so yes they’re straightforward but also full of irony or multi-meanings. Your voice and instrumental chops are VERY remarkable.
